A monitoring survey to determine the general lowering in level of ground, relative to what its level would be where its motionless. Generally conducted by the use of survey Total Station and Target Prism.
All monitoring strategies and programmes have reasons and justifications which are often designed to establish the current status of a soil environment or to establish trends in soil environmental parameters. In all cases the results of monitoring will be reviewed and analyzed.
