Coring Works Survey

Coring work is a common site investigation whereby core sampler is dropped into the sample, usually the bed of a water body, to obtain sediments or rock with hollow tube called a drilled hole, essentially the same technique can be used on soft materials on land. The penetration force when dropped, gives information about the strength of different layers in the material along with samples collected from the depth penetrated through the bed of a water body. Coring work can range from simple few meter sampling up till depths of bed rock depending on survey project requirement.

A survey in which a penetrating to a maximum depth of up to three meters. The collected samples were marked, stored accordingly and laboratory tested for particle size analysis of the soil.

Application: Site Survey, Marine Construction, Civil Construction, Dredging Operations, Harbor Improvement.
