A survey in a form of low frequency sonar in which acoustic beams penetrate the seabed. This is done using towed or side-mounted Seismic Source and sailed over the survey area whilst submarine geology shall be collected and recorded. The record represents a cross section of the geological structure including material thickness of the sub-bottom. Generally, five (5) to twenty (20) meters penetrations, subjected to seabed condition, are quite achievable.
